Providing care to others is a regulated activity, yet independent personal assistants are currently not regulated. We believe vulnerable adults deserve to receive quality care which meets the legislation under the Care Act, making the QCAS service an essential stamp of approval, not a nice to have.
Our aim is to ensure every independent carer meets the high standards set by QCAS to raise and maintain the standards across the independent care sector to safeguard those who need care.
Whilst our membership provides a convenient and great value one-stop shop for personal assistants (carers), our goal is to make the service free to encourage even more into the QCAS community to ensure continuity of high-quality, person-centred care.
Run for the benefit of the community
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are a social enterprise that has been set up and run for the benefit of the community. We rely on donations to further improve and grow the service across the UK and strive to ensure as many people as possible are able to access the high-quality care they deserve.
